Flash Player is integrated with Google Chrome as Pepper plug-in. Sometimes, it's necessary for developers to install the Content Debugger to debug their code. These instructions outline how to install and enable the Content Debugger.

Adobe Flash Player is great for playing games, audio and videos over the internet, but sometimes the failure to enable or upgrade it means it doesn't always work. This can even be the case when your browser is Chrome, which features its own built-in version of Flash. To check which Flash version you have and to update if need be, you should do the following: Type (or copy-paste) ' chrome://components/ ' into your address bar in Chrome. Scroll down to Adobe Flash Player. Make sure that Prefer HTML over Flash and Run all Flash content when Flash setting is set to “allow” are set to Default.Open another tab and type in chrome://components.Under Adobe Flash Player, click the Check for update button. Now click on the Chrome menu button at the top right and click on Settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Show Advanced Settings. Default Behavior of Chrome – Ask to Enable Flash for Specific Site. When a page with Flash content is loaded, Chrome will show the “Click to enable Adobe Flash Player” message with a puzzle piece like below. This is because the default settings for Flash content is to ask for permission before run. This means that there is no limit to the kinds of things that you are able to do with Flash Player, at least as long as you stick to the standards that Adobe has imposed. Finally, you want to use Flash Player because it is incredibly simple to setup. This is extremely important: if you install Flash Player while Firefox is open, the Flash Player plugin won't be installed to Firefox and you won't be able to use Flash content in your Firefox browser even though the Flash Player is installed.
Note:
If you have issues with integrated Flash Player plug-in in Chrome, report the issue to Google.

Flashpocolypse. Sure it’s a silly name. But what *pocolypse isn’t? The beginning of the end of Flash has been circling overhead for some time, but the beast will not die. The latest release of Google Chrome certainly must weaken Flash’s resolve to live for much longer. In June, Google announced in a blog post that it introduced a beta feature in Chrome that would “intelligently pause content (like Flash animations) that aren’t central to the webpage.” That feature is no longer in beta. Flash content that Chrome deems non-central no longer plays by default.

The primary intention of killing Flash content in this manner was to help preserve laptop battery life. Its impact reaches farther than power consumption. Publishers dependent on Flash advertisements, for example, may no longer see impressions or corresponding revenue from Chrome visitor activity on their sites. Google’s own ad network, AdSense, does not deliver Flash ads, opting instead for HTML5 ads. As such, the impact on AdSense publishers will likely be minimal. Myriad recent security issues with Flash Player must also be a consideration when deciding to block Flash ads by default. No matter the reason, we will show you how to unblock Flash in Chrome so you aren’t deprived of any of the great Flash ad content you may still encounter.
